The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Girls , University of Baghdad Witnessed the discussed a Master’s Thesis( The Impact of a Proposed Educational Curriculum According to the Wheatley Model on Cognitive Achievement and the Learning of Preparation and Reception Skills in Volleyball for Female Students), by  the Student Wurood Qasim Hamad.

The study aimed to prepare a cognitive achievement assessment scale for the skill of setting and receiving in volleyball for second-stage female students at our college, and to develop a proposed educational curriculum based on Wheatley model in cognitive achievement and learning the skills of setting and receiving in volleyball, Assessing the effect of the proposed educational curriculum, according to Wheatley  model, on cognitive achievement and the acquisition of setting and receiving skills in volleyball for female students.

The study yielded several results and recommendations, with one of the most significant findings being the superior performance of the experimental group compared to the control group in post-assessment tests of cognitive achievement and the learning of setting and receiving skills in volleyball for female students, The necessity of utilizing modern learning strategies to achieve optimal results and to move away from teacher-centered strategies that do not provide opportunities for student expression.
